this is soooo interesting ! I love this site. I think all Italian families know what Easter Pie is, a favorite of our family that we all looked forward to every easter. I watched my grandmother make ours,and have tried very hard to make it like she did,came pretty close, but still not the same. I am glad that I can find these other receipes to compare,and have found that although there is some difference the basic receipe is pretty much the same. We didn't hard boil our eggs, but used uncooked. I will look for one of Deb's reciepe.
