Great waffle with whole wheat flour. I used the white whole wheat in the past in fear that the winter red wheat would be bitter. I used buttermilk that was getting close to use by date instead of the milk. I also added a teaspoon of Penzey's Baking Spice for an added zing. How do you like that baking spice (cinnamon, mace, anise, and cardamom)? What a good idea, putting it in these waffles... Thanks for sharing. PJH
