A heaping 1/2 c of sugar? I have never seen that before..it seems that one persons heaping might be different than another. Maybe 1/2 c plus 1 tbsp? That measurement sounds reasonable for a heaping half cup! ~Amy If you look at the weight, a heaping half cup (at least the way I heaped!) is a scant 2/3 cup. So I'd make it 1/2 cup + 2 tablespoons... PJH
