Ann, it sounds like your biscotti dough may be a bit stiffer than it should be. It's easy to add too much flour to a recipe when measuring by volume. This is one of the great reasons for using a scale to measure your ingredients! If you don't have a scale, we recommend this method for measuring flour by volume. Barb@KAF
