I made these rolls twice - loved texture and flavor. The first time we used the rolls with in a few days. For the second batch, I baked them completely and froze half of them. When I thawed them, they were very hard, dense and leathery. Obviously, I did something wrong. What is the right way to thaw and reheat them to get the texture from fresh out of the oven? Next time, I'll likely freeze after first rising.
