These are definitely on the chewy side, Elaine! If you're a fan of chewy breads, look for recipes using Bread Flour or recipes using High Gluten-Flour. Both of these flours and the recipes that call for them tend to be chewy in texture and they rise nice and high. Plus, they're delicious! Annabelle@KAF
