First of all, I just want to say THANK YOU for calling it a "Bathtub Madonna" because my parents used to call them that and my friends all laughed at me and didn't believe that some people actually build their own out of real bathtubs... Second of all, this cupcake recipe makes me want to try baking with caramel (prior to this, I've considered it way too much hassle for not enough reward). It looks fantastic! I think the shrines show real ingenuity, a recycling movement ahead of its time. We've been known to give local directions to "turn just past the bathtub Madonna". ;) ~ MaryJane
