Hmmmmm! Exactly how long did that parfait last before you gobbled it up for breakfast?:) I have heard that you can make jam in slow cookers (crock pots) too, I've not tried it but see no reason for it not to work! Obviously not a fast way of making it but perhaps easier than standing at the stove. HI Sandra, I was a very good girl and brought the parfait to the kitchen for someone to take for snack. Of course, I did have a scone with some fresh jam and pastry cream on it on it and it was superb! ~ MaryJane
