I made this jam recipe in a Cuisinart compact bread maker -- save yourself some cleanup time and don't do it! I know that Zojirushi machines are higher end than Cuisinart, but without a splash guard, the liquid splashed everywhere -- some of which ended up on the side and on the coil, which burned immediately. Fortunately, I was nearby when it happened so I stopped the machine (with about 30 minutes remaining at the time) and prevented further burning.
