OMG!!! I just noticed that this cake has SEVEN layers! I think I may have found my inspiration for a long lost favorite, Seven Layer cake that I have not been able to find for years!! I used to be able to get in local bakeries which have mostly all been lost to gracery store bakeries. It was a yellow cake with a light chocolate buttercream and the ganache on top. I will be working on re-creating this. I can't wait to give it a try! Awesome! Let us know how it goes. ~ MaryJane
