This is the BEST waffle recipe I have ever used. I let my batter sit overnight in the fridge overnight and baKed the next morning. The texture/ flavor was perfect. So delicious! I do have a belgian waffle maker like the one you described. There is a difference in flavor from the baking powder baked waffles, but I like it! Thanks for your feedback - there are those, as I said, who are put off by the yeasty flavor in these; but most people seem to love them... PJH
