Francis, you used dry instant mashed potatoes, right (not prepared)? Sounds like the correct proportion; could be the brand of instant? Maybe they were buds, not flakes? Lots of variables... you might want to call our baker's hotline, 855-371-2253, so you can discuss this with someone.
