Hi I have made this icing many times before and it is the most delicious I have tasted. My only problem is that when I add colour I have used both wilton gel and americolor after I have piped it onto the cake it begins to separate resulting in the colour actually dripping of the icing and leaving a marbled effect. It tastes nice but looks awful. Not sure where I am going wrong. Any advice would help.
