This is fun to make and tasty, but mine stayed pretty flat -- the top had puffy spots but no dome -- and it was a little dry. I made no substitutions on ingredients (other than using the listed alternate half-and-half). My only change was to use an 8" square pan instead of a 9" round one. Baking powder was fresh. The dough was quite stiff. Any thoughts?
