I recently made this recipe for our annual wood stacking party,(lumberjack party). I increased the meat by a lb,( 1 lb. ground chuck, 2 lb. ground pork), and adjusted the spices, baked the pies in very large deep dish pie pans.Served with brown gravy, bread and butter pickles and mustard, steamed green beans and some apple crisp. HUGE hit! It will now be a part of our own tradition, thank you!!
