This looks delicious! I had an incredible tourtiere a few years ago, my husband and I were on vacation in Quebec City. It was made with "a trio of game meats" - I suppose venison was one of them - and definitely some sweet spices - but I remember the meat being a bit chunkier, and there was a bit of sauce in it too. It was so, so good... I have looked at recipes from time to time but none have seemed to be quite the same. Bu this one looks delicious - I will have to give it a try!
