We haven't tried that exact substitution before, Julia, but that's a good suggestion. We actually have a tip for using pumpkin puree in our Dog Biscuit Mix, so we imagine it could work well in this recipe too. You may want to start by using only 1/4 of water and adding more as it seems necessary. Happy baking! Kye@KAF
