Baked pies will certainly hold up better than unbaked pies, Donald, though pies in general aren't known for being sturdy travelers. If you are committed to the idea of shipping a pie, your best bet is to bake, cool, freeze, then ship frozen with cold packs. (And keep your fingers crossed the whole time!)
