I can't wait to make these. My family has Swedish ancestry and we always celebrate St. Lucia Day. But we usually just do cinnamon rols. I'm totally going to attempt these. Thanks for such a wonderful how-to! Hoping I can find pearl sugar at a kitchen store near me since I don't have time to have you guys ship it to UT. If you can't find pearl sugar, you could try breaking up sugar cubes. Not quite the same, but close. ~ MaryJane
