There's absolutely no danger in wearing the burning candles, *so long as the girl in question is pure*, and I don't mean lacking bleach or bromates. Per hagiographies, St. Lucia was a very good girl who did not burn on a pyre set due to her refusal to compromise her virtue in marriage. There's your fire safety and history lesson for the day. ;0) Back to baking; I make mine with brioche dough and add saffron.
