Many years ago, we began a family Christmas tradition of serving the Lucia bread, made into the wreath, complete with candles, for breakfast on Christmas morning. We made and shaped the bread the night before and let it rise in the refrigerator or cold garage (northern New England). In the morning, it was ready to pop into the oven.My family loves it and we look forward to our special bread every year.
