Hi Paola, I'm sorry this didn't work out for you. The dough needs to be refrigerated before rolling. A cold dough is easier to roll and will inhibit sticking. It is not necessary to use butter on your cookie cutters. Whatever flour adheres to the cookie-cutter will be sufficient to allow for the easy release of the dough, especially if the dough is cold and not too thin.
