Do these need to be eaten the same day they're made or can they be stored for a while either at room temperature or in the fridge? I was thinking of adding them to my Christmas cookie/baking tins I give to coworkers as gifts, but if they should be eaten soon after baking I might make them closer to Christmas instead. I'd say they should be consumed within a few days of making; no need to refrigerate, but they'll start to get stale. PJH
