OMG I love gingersnaps and make them every year! The first year of my neighbor's cookie swap I ended up making two batches. The first was devoured by my son and the second went to the swap. I totally agree, must use shortening for a good crispy cookie. I may have to bake a batch up this week! 'Tis the season for gingersnaps, Lynn... :) PJH
