Virginia, we recommend using half white whole wheat and half all-purpose flour if you'd like to add some whole grains to this recipe. If you use 100% white whole wheat, the biscuits will be a bit more dense and not quite as light as they otherwise would be. Happy biscuit baking! Kye@KAF
