Why is it that my biscuits don't raise only about 1/2 inch over what I rolled them out ,I rolled them out to about 3/4 , the taste is there but not a good looking biscuit, is it the cutter I use (tuna fish can) the baking powder expire in April.of 2016,I use butter Kaf flour and baking powder salt buttermilk,baking soda ,so where do I go wrong ,thanks for all the recipes I have tried many and came out yummy but not biscuit ,thanks for any info..
