I am English living half a year in the UK and half in the USA. I started making artisan sourdough bread in March 2020 using ratios of white bread flour 300g and 100g of Granary Flour. I wanted to continue doing this but to my utter surprise have found it impossible to find Granary or Wholemeal Flour (for Irish soda bread)
I have substituted king Arthur’s brown wholewheat Flour 100g mixed with a few wheat flakes and about 25g powdered malt for the Granary flour which is not bad, but is there another way to get that Granary flavour? I have also found it difficult to find sunflower or pumpkin seeds to decorate the top of the bread. Can you help please?
