how can I do this with homemade caramel? what is the ratio of ingredients needed to get that caramel consistency? Hi Nicole, I haven't ever tried a homemade caramel filling, but keep the caramel on the softer side, not as firm as for a wrapped caramel. Let us know how it goes! ~ MaryJane
