I think my most boneheaded kitchen mistake was forgetting the flour in a batch of cookies. Just...straight up forgot it. I was heartbroken at the time, but in retrospect it's kind of hilarious. My gratitude to King Arthur for these fabulous tips and the reminder that everybody makes mistakes sometimes. My sympathies, Jane. I once tried to vacuum without attaching the hose to the machine, and wondered why I was getting such poor results....Susan
