Hmm... it sounds like we'll hear the result in a few hours, Barbara! If it was large amount of milk, the dough may have been too dry to rise the first time. Depending on what kind of yeast you used, it might still have some energy left to rise now that the milk's added. While this certainly isn't an ideal situation, the dough may still turn out.
