My husband has been asking for a rhubarb pie for weeks now so I thought I would make one for Thanksgiving. I followed one of my favorite recipes and had it in the oven for half the baking time before I discovered I had forgotten half the sugar. I tried adding some more sugar through the vent holes (it didn't work), so sprinkled some sugar on top of crust. I still have most of a cup of sugar left. Tomorrow when all is cool I will make a sugar sauce to add to the pie as I serve it. Hope it works.
