What a bummer, Rose! Since your butter was already grated, it might have worked to incorporate the cold butter into your dough. Chances are that you ended up using more liquid than you would have if you had added the butter earlier, though, so they may still have ended up a little more cake-like than desired. Hopefully the second batch turned out just right! Mollie@KAF
