After making a scone batter and adding all the ingredients, I then realized that I had not cut in the butter as I had pre-grated and froze it and completely forgot about it until it was too late. I was going to melt some butter and add it in and then chill to see what would happen, but I didn't want to waste another 3/4 cup of butter so I threw the dough away and started anew. This time I did not forget the butter. Do you think something could have been done to save the dough?
