That should be fine - You add 1/4 teaspoon salt to every 1/4 cup unsalted butter to make the equivalent of salted, so dissolve 1 teaspoon salt in a teaspoon or so of water, and knead/beat it in. If the dough is chilled, best to bring it to room temperature first. Good luck - PJH
