The recipe sounds wonderful. Someone mentioned cherries!!! I have frozen michigan sour cherries. Any suggestions as to how I should prepare them for this type of recipe. Cherry is my husband's all time favorite. I'd suggest you pit the cherries, add sugar (maybe a touch of almond), and cook them down a bit to evaporate some of the liquid, before using as filling. Sounds good! PJH
