I found the old pineapple square recipe - it goes back at least 50 years - on a scrap of paper in my recipe box - it's very basic: 1/2 cup sugar, 2 eggs, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 can crushed pineapple (do not drain). Mix together, put in pie crust (in cookie sheet with sides). Top with crust, bake 350 degrees 1/2 hour. Drizzle with frosting when cool. Apricot squares involved using dried apricots, but I've lost the recipe - will have to ask my Mom. Sounds delish, Leslie - thanks! PJH
