Oh my goodness...this looks amazing and is PERFECT for us right now... we are harvesting our bumper crop of apples... peeling every day for applesauce and apple cake and apple pie. This recipe is excellent for that little piece ~ that little taste you want. Visiting Norwich, VT was a great summer trip ~ we are still enjoying the treats we brought home! We picked up an apple peeler while at the King Arthur Flour Bake shop this summer. I've been using it a lot! I made King Arthur Flour English muffins today... they were fabulous!
