PJ, I know you're a baking genius (seriously, I love everything on this blog) but this is not cobbler! Cobbler has biscuit dough in my world...this is more brown betty. Not that the name makes it any less delicious! Beth, a cobbler by any other name would taste as sweet? I was actually trying to address the "this isn't cobbler" concerns in my preamble, but when you deviate from a classic dessert, there's bound to be discussion, so bring it on!
