Those look soooo good! I'm planning on making them this weekend using the land o lakes sugar cookie recipe. I have a few questions.....about how many baked alaskas does this make and I don't have any merange powder so could I just make a merange out of a couple egg whites, and sugar? thanks KAF! Yes, for a fresh meringue, use 4 whites and the 3/4 cup of sugar. No need for the water. Frank @ KAF.
