Hi, I'd like to make chocolate macarons shells using the Macarons recipe with the syrup. How much cacao powder should I use and what should I reduce (Would it be the same 1/4 cup substitution as what you recommend in the Simple Macarons recipe)? Also, would it work with sugar alternatives (I have your Baking Sugar Alternative, as well as Lakanto powdered sugar). Thanks!
