Diana, we love baking in cast iron! We recommend using a cold oven start when using pans of this material. This means that once your buns are almost fully proofed, put it in the oven and set it to 375°F. This way the pan heats up gently as the oven preheats. Once it reaches the full temperature, start your baking time. If the buns are bigger than traditional hot dog buns, bake for about 20-25 minutes (or for less time if they are regular-sized buns). An instant read thermometer inserted into the center should read about 190°F when they've finished baking. Enjoy! Kye@KAF
