Hi Christine, yes, the pie filling enhancer and the instant clearjel contain the same type of thickener, although the instant clearjel is a bit more potent because it doesn't contain added sugar. I would add about 2 1/2 teaspoons of the instant clearjel to the sugar first, and then mix it in with the raspberries (this helps prevent clumping). You may also find you need to add a bit more sugar when substituting the instant clearjel for the pie filling enhancer.
