Hi Suzie, we haven't tried substituting white whole wheat flour for the all-purpose flour in this recipe, but it's certainly worth a try. Because this recipe is already so bran rich, expect a denser result when substituting whole wheat flour, and add about 2 teaspoons extra liquid per each cup of white whole wheat flour you substitute.
