Love the recipe and look of these muffins. And all that bran!!! has to be healthy!
I have wanted to make a bran muffin that is 'in the Zone', like contains about 20-30% protein( powder), 20-30 fat and 40 is carbo. Have you ever experimented with this 'endeavour'? I have and because the result was not terribly appetizing I wondered if you had any suggestions? Like if I added protein powder( maybe 1/2 cup) how much liquid would I then have to add? Or could I just thrown in some bananas?
I would appreciate any advice.
