I was wondering about drizzling the pizza version with pizza sauce just before baking? I made pizza a couple weeks ago and forgot to brush the sauce over the dough before spreading out the sausage, mushrooms and cheese. I get distracted very easily, obviously! So I drizzled it over the toppings baked it and it was very good, it seeped down between everything.
