Why wouldn’t either a slight amount of either melted butter or a beaten egg brushed lightly on the rectangle of dough before adding the cinnamon work to keep the rolls from drying out? We love what the beaten egg with a cinnamon dusting gives to the layers of the Cinnamon Star Bread, so why couldn’t that help with these buns?
