PJH -- I felt sorry for Hoddie as you did not know what she meant by putting in the cookie sheet ahead of time, (on the top shelf to prevent burning), as is recommended for popovers in your directions. I was waiting for someone to ask the same question as we are not supposed to open the oven door during the cooking time! So---- if they burn on the first try, we will know in the future to add the cookie tray to the top? Trial and error? Just asking! Leslie
