My first attempt at something like this and came out flawed but still very tasty. I forgot the egg wash, and didn't have any sugar to sprinkle on the top. I made the mistake of baking this on a cookie sheet, and the bottom was scorched black. I sliced it, and cut off the bottom 1/8th burnt layer, and no one knew the difference. My family and co-workers want me to try again very soon.
