I'm planning to make this and bring some to work the next day. Does the finished product need to be stored in the refrigerator, or can it be left out? It should really be refrigerated long-term, if you're concerned about food safety, but like a Cheese Danish or carrot cake with cream cheese frosting, I'd think it's OK to leave it out for the time it probably takes you to get to work and serve it... PJH
