I use half vanilla and half almond extract. So yummy! I like the idea of the sugar but does it ever get stuck or burnt on the iron? Mine is old. It didn't get stuck on my iron, Amy - no telling on yours, though. Give it a try - be sure to grab the pizzelle off the iron FAST when you open it. PJH
